Job Description

About the Company

Our client is on a mission to set a new standard for cafe favorites with better-for-you beverages that are craveable, convenient, and without compromise. Positioned at the intersection of cafe culture, convenience, and functional nutrition, the client is reimagining the drinks people buy every day. No one should have to trade taste for quality ingredients, and its protein coffee proves it. The client is now expanding into major retail while building a loyal community around better-for-you cafe favorites. It's a lean team of about 130 people and the client hires and promotes from within.

Role Overview

This is a remote (US, Eastern Time zone preferred) Conversion-Focused Product Designer role. This person will treat conversion rate as the job, not a byproduct of good visuals, combining exceptional design craft with deep Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) expertise to build ecommerce experiences that are as effective as they are beautiful. They will join the growing Design team, working closely with Growth Marketing, Brand, and the CTO to create, test, and optimize landing pages, product pages, and customer journeys that directly move conversion, average order value, and revenue. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role for someone who loves digging into user behavior, testing hypotheses, and using data to make good design even better.

Responsibilities

  • High-converting design: Design and optimize landing pages, product pages, collection pages, bundles, quizzes, and seasonal campaigns built to convert, not just to look good.
  • CRO partnership: Partner with Growth Marketing to translate CRO strategies and test hypotheses into intuitive, high-converting user experiences.
  • Data-driven iteration: Dig into heatmaps, session recordings, analytics, and A/B test results to find friction and continuously improve performance.
  • Full-funnel ownership: Improve key customer journeys across navigation, PDPs, cart, checkout, upsells, and post-purchase experiences.
  • Ecommerce craft: Build inside Shopify, Webflow, or headless ecommerce platforms, creating bundle and quiz experiences that are as functional as they are on-brand.
  • Design systems: Contribute to and evolve the shared design system, building reusable components that speed up execution across campaigns.
  • Pixel-perfect execution: Work closely with developers and fellow designers to ship clean, premium interfaces with exceptional typography, spacing, and mobile-first usability.

Who They're Looking For

  • Exceptional design taste, with a portfolio that shows a sharp eye for typography, spacing, hierarchy, color, and modern ecommerce design.
  • Deep experience designing ecommerce experiences, landing pages, product pages, collections, and campaigns that drove measurable business results, ideally for a CPG, food and beverage, or other DTC consumer brand.
  • Thinks like a CRO practitioner, not just a designer, comfortable using A/B testing, heatmaps, session recordings, and behavior data to keep improving conversion.
  • Figma as the primary tool, equally comfortable building inside Shopify, Webflow, or headless ecommerce platforms.
  • Designs with outcomes in mind, balancing aesthetics with usability, clarity, and conversion on every decision.
  • Has brand-side or in-house experience somewhere in their background. A purely agency resume is fine as part of the story, just not the whole story.
  • Moves fast and owns their work, comfortable in a small, scrappy team, carrying the full weight of the role rather than a slice of it.
  • Bonus points for optimizing Core Web Vitals or partnering closely with UX writers and copywriters.
