Job Description

About the Company

Our client is a fast-growing DTC brand in the pet health space. The client operates at real scale, moves fast, and expects the people on the team to take full ownership of their work. The client leads the calming niche for cats and dogs and sells across Shopify, Amazon, and Chewy.

Role Overview

This is a remote (LATAM/Europe) Head of Growth role. This person will take over media buying and performance strategy, owning budget allocation and performance across channels, guiding the media buying function, and bringing the analytical rigor a subscription business runs on. This is a role for someone who has managed and owned $20M or more in annual ad spend and knows how to operate at that scale, thinking beyond buying media to how funnel strategy, offers, and retention economics all connect.

Responsibilities

  • Cross-channel budget ownership: Own allocation and performance across all paid channels, guiding the media buying function and setting the standard for how spend gets prioritized.
  • Large-scale media buying: Bring direct experience managing $20M or more in annual ad spend, operating well beyond single-account management.
  • Deep performance analysis: Dig into the data behind every campaign, using deep analysis to catch what surface-level reporting misses.
  • Retention and subscription economics: Understand LTV, new customer economics, and how to set the right KPIs for a subscription business, not just acquisition cost.
  • Funnel strategy: Know when to push top-of-funnel awareness versus bottom-of-funnel conversion, and how offer and funnel changes ripple through performance.
  • Tool-driven decision making: Work daily in Northbeam or TripleWhale, and use AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT to move through data fast.

Who They're Looking For

  • Has managed $20M or more in annual ad spend, ideally for a single brand.
  • Strong analytical chops, able to go deep on data, not just report top-line numbers.
  • Understands retention and subscription economics: LTV, new customer economics, and KPI setting for a subscription business.
  • Knows when to lean into top-of-funnel versus bottom-of-funnel, and how funnel or offer changes affect performance.
  • Has led cross-channel performance, not just executed media buys, and is comfortable guiding a media buying function.
  • Fluent in Northbeam or Triple Whale, using AI tools as part of the daily workflow.
  • Brand-side experience is a plus.
