Job Description

About the Company

Our client is one of the fastest-growing sustainable baby brands in the US, on a mission to dramatically reduce plastic in disposable diapers while delivering products parents can truly trust. It's the first disposable diaper brand to use a 100 percent cotton liner against baby's skin, not plastic, and its patented liner technology has earned top innovation awards across the personal hygiene industry. The company is proud to be growing rapidly across DTC and retail.

Role Overview

This is a hybrid D2C Growth Manager role based in Los Angeles, CA (2-3 days/week in office), reporting directly to the Head of Revenue and Operations. This person will set strategy, and will be expected to brief and challenge what isn't working. It's a hands on keyboard role: they will own paid media across Meta and Google, and will be judged first and foremost on growing the subscription business profitably, since most of the company's D2C revenue is subscription based. They will oversee paid creative and on site offer testing, and manage the existing paid media and creative agencies, with room to take on more of that ownership over time.

Retention and lifecycle channels like email and SMS may become part of this seat as the role takes shape.

Responsibilities

  • Grow subscription profitably: Own subscription growth as the top priority, bringing a real point of view on how to scale a heavy subscription business profitably, not just acquire one time customers.
  • Prioritize D2C scaling: Treat D2C growth as the top priority, making the tradeoffs needed to scale it profitably.
  • Set targets and execute daily: Bring deep data analysis to forecasting and KPI setting, then own the day to day execution to hit them.
  • Own lifecycle and SMS: Build and run email and SMS as real growth channels, not an afterthought to paid media.
  • Run CRO testing: Own ongoing conversion rate optimization testing across the site and offers.
  • Run paid media: Manage day to day paid performance across Meta and Google, scaling what works.
  • Manage agency partners: Direct the creative, PPC, and other agency partners day to day, holding them to clear targets.
